L: “You want some grilled chee…Mac n’ cheese?”
Me: “Yes, I would like a grilled mac n’ cheese.”
L: **stares at me**
Me: “Yes, it’s exactly what you think it is.”
L: **Smiles and heads toward kitchen to concoct dinner**

I may be a married, anti-marriage hypocrite, but gawdamn! this lady’s the bees knees.
ok, just browsed the “paris” tag, and for some reason i thought of ny.
and just 2.5 years, and we’ll both be graduated
and then we’ll work on growing L’s practice and my whatever-the-hell-i’m-gonna-do (most likely teach, prob. high school, pref. college)
and then, once we’ve got some money saved, we can finally go travellin’
so, if i can hold on until then…
OR, i could just apply to a bunch of damn residencies for summer…that’d prob. hold me over.
But, I have a 10-page paper due by the end of the day, and almost everyone I love in Portland goes/went to PNCA. So, I’ll have to avoid that campus. :(
Good luck to my friends taking the History of Photo exam.

I also get to (if I get my paper done) go to the AGLSP conference. One of the sessions I’m particularly interested by takes place at 1:30 today. I hope I finish my paper by them. I am the slowest muthalovin’ writer EVAR!

I get to gallery attend at Place today and chat with some rad folks. We’ll mostly talk shit about whiteness. It’s fun as hell, y’all. Seriously, though. We’re each working on pieces dealing with identity with the question of whiteness in mind.
Oh! Oh! I also get to pick up some blank panels from People’s Art of Portland. :D I’ll finally get to start those paintings I’ve been wanting to do. (I didn’t have the time/money to get/make panels). Pretty excited.
